FLASHBACK TO LOCKDOWN '21! 💫

This springs to mind a holiday in Barcelona almost ten years ago - exactly half way through my 20 year GO kombucha journey! - when Spanish friends took me for a day out at the famous outdoor water park @illafantasia several miles outside of the centre.

The jostle to buy drinks in the 35C heat was crazy, and by late afternoon I was parched and took a few gulps from a tap in the bathroom…

Heading back to the car park an hour or so later I had, or rather felt, the most extraordinary need to drink a bottle of GO Kombucha, as if my body was suddenly craving it.

I just couldn’t explain it and knew it would be several days before I was home with a garage full of refrigerated GO Kombucha on tap. Driving away from the park I felt a little twinge in my gut, then another, then the cramp started setting in…

Suffice it to say we stopped at the first pharmacy we could find and bought ‘Spanish belly’ medication that prevented what would otherwise have been a very unpleasant - and explosive - experience!

The positive I took from that was knowing from my own, personal experience that my product really works in the gut. Not just anecdotally from many of the emails I receive from grateful and sometimes ecstatic customers, but because my own body craved it and was telling me long before I knew why!

My gut that day, literally, was talking to my head; the so-called gut-mind/brain connection. If I had any doubt I was preoccupied running the wrong business and that my destiny really lay elsewhere, well, that more or less settled all doubt, period!🥂
